Are you our next Locomotive Electro Mechanic?
The Locomotive Electro Mechanic is responsible for making electrical and pneumatic repairs to all Mosaic locomotives. Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on EMD style locomotives with other peripheral equipment. Must be able to remove, disassemble, repair and reassemble and replace whole or partial electrical components. Must have a valid Florida Driver's license.
What will you do?
4 years of locomotive mechanical experience including, but not limited to diagnosing and repairing of EMD engines
26-L air brake systems
Locomotive truck assemblies, including wheel and traction motor change outs
Must be capable of researching part numbers in catalogs
What do you need for this role?
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of industrial or locomotive electrical experience
Good motivational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to work alone and with others
4 years of related locomotive electrical repair experience preferred
Physical work environment is frequently outdoors and exposed to varying temperatures from below 32 degrees to above 85 degrees Fahrenheit
