The EHS Programs Coordinator will evaluate the performance of the Mosaic Management System (MMS), identify improvement opportunities and assist business partners by recommending growth areas or best practices available and ensuring our system requirements match out business needs. Role to liaison between 3rd party contractors and operating sites to ensure we have a complete understanding of our regulatory requirements and manage our software tracking system.

What will you do?

  • Conduct performance evaluations / trending of the Mosaic Management System (MMS) and provide interpretation of the results with identified solutions. Identify opportunities to improve/enhance the MMS, focus areas for the assurance activities, and communicate good practices.

  • Work with the Corporate EHS Outreach team to determine implementation of EHS standards, communicate good practices and assist with field work as needed.

  • Manage EHS standard updates/development from initiation through delivery. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements. Develop implementation plan, engage key stakeholders, define and coordinate activities, communicate changes and progress. Maintain change documentation associated with standard updates/development. Escalate changes in scope or plan to appropriate manager.

  • Ability to proactively identify business needs and as a result create and build tools and processes in support of EHS initiatives. Serve as consultative partner.

  • Maintain the EHSS legal and other requirements content within the software system

  • Act as the liaison between Mosaic and the 3rd party consultants for both content and system requirements

  • Facilitate the quarterly LOR review with the business unit and site personnel

  • Manage the EHS audit software system, generate requested system reports, and recommend improvements to enhance the system.

  • Deliver on-going user training and maintain user references, guidelines, help manual and FAQ documentation

  • Deliver prompt, reliable support, and error resolution for system users

  • Actively participate in team meetings and communicate status updates with identified opportunities

  • Assist with EHS projects and assignments as required

  • Identify opportunity areas to improve EHS performance information management

What do you need for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with a preferred major in Science or Engineering. Will accept a HSD/GED with 7 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Engineering preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in a wide variety of operations areas support functions; in chemical, commodity or fertilizer business preferred

  • Proven knowledge of EHSMS / MMS / Management Systems

  • Demonstrated experience working in EMIS systems

  • Experience comprehending a variety of complex customer / operational / administrative requirements or problems and exercising independent judgment to implement effective solutions

  • Proficiency at evaluating data from multiple disparate systems, identifying trends and making recommendations based on data

  • Experience exercising significant independent authority and accountability for the successful operation of a program

  • Knowledge of EMIS system SAP’s OMEGA solution and system administration

  • Prior experience in policy development, regulatory compliance, legal requirements

  • Six Sigma Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint and Microsoft Project toolset.

  • Ability to learn various utility tools and applications

  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding for a variety of audiences

  • Must be agile in adjust to fast changing priorities

  • Ability to think “outside of the box” when faced with project related problems or issues
