Are you our next Environmental Specialist?
The Environmental Specialist collects samples, observes facility operations, interprets data, and communicates issues with operations and management. Provides expertise including technical training to assure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements. Troubleshoots and maintains an environmental electronic database and inspection records and modifies as needed. Coordinates and directs contractors on special sampling and projects. Prepares technical reports on regulatory compliance and project management.
What will you do?
Interprets data and communicates environmental issues to operations and environmental management.
Provide recommendations to encourage environmental excellence throughout maintenance and operations.
Performs inspections of plant areas to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conducts facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with strict regulatory procedures. This may include providing technical training to assist with on-going compliance. Requires high attention to detail.
Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
Provides expertise to implement new software and equipment to continue on-going environmental compliance.
Provide project management for various environmental projects.
What do you need for this role?
3 years environmental experience. Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and understanding of Agency requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Microsoft Office Suite experience
