Are you our next Human Resources Associate?
The Human Resources Associate will coordinate the delivery of HR services and provide day to day HR Generalist support to People Leaders and employees in the Global Functions and Commercial groups in the areas of talent management/development, compensation, benefits, People Leader effectiveness, employee engagement, and employee relations.
What will you do?
Coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of HR services including: meeting with new hires and conducting orientation sessions, maintaining employee records and files, coordinating employee leave details with HR Generalists and People Leaders, requesting and documenting employee transactions, and ensuring invoices are processed and approved.
Work closely with HR Generalists, hiring managers and recruitment team to support hiring and onboarding needs.
Understand union contracts and ensure accurate leaves, pay and benefits are processed. Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees and People Leaders.
Liaison with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Shared Services as appropriate.
Participate in and provide support for HR Generalist activities supporting the Global Functions and Commercial HR Managers, which includes conducting exit meetings; documenting investigations, grievances, and employee relations concerns; completing SOX control documentation and reporting; writing and editing job descriptions; and coordinating related logistics for meetings, talent and compensation review sessions, etc. Provide executive support to the VP, Human Resources.
Employ a variety of communication strategies to ensure the workforce is receiving information in a timely and effective manner.
Create and provide HRIS data and reporting as requested to report trends, identify business challenges and provide recommendations.
Maintain and ensure quality assurance of key HR data sets, reports and metrics.
Participate in HR and cross-functional projects as assigned. Miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
PHR or CHRP certification preferred.
2+ years of professional human resources experience.
For those candidates without a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of relevant professional HR experience is required.
Public company experience preferred.
Very knowledgeable of U.S. employment laws and practices.
Project management skills preferred.
Candidate must be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Workday HRIS preferred.
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills, including excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Strong interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills.
Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information. Strong teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and practices.
Ability to effectively work and create effective partnerships with employees at all elvels within the organization.
