The Mosaic Company Manager Minerals Maintenance Services in Lithia, Florida

Are you our next Manager Minerals Maintenance Services?

This position is responsible for manage and direct maintenance activities of a central maintenance team supporting Florida Phosphate Minerals locations. Direct and manage reliability programs and improvements, requiring knowledge and understanding of current technology on predictive maintenance (PdM), preventative maintenance (PM, computerized maintenance management (CMMS) and reliability-based maintenance practices.

What will you do?

  • Drive daily and long-term planning, workflow, mechanical integrity, and predictive/preventive maintenance activities to improve asset health with a focus on draglines and dredges. Plan and execute dragline major turnarounds. Manage Mechanical Integrity program. Communicate on the status of projects and other team activities.

  • Plan resource needs based on technical requirements and deploy resources (technical expertise and people) as needed. Facilitate training and development of site employees to improve the maintenance and/or workflow process and overall site knowledge as it relates to the Minerals Services work. Partner with site Maintenance Managers to ensure all work process participants and accountable for established processes.

  • Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent. Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.

  • Lead change and standardize best maintenance practices through influencing and partnering with site management. Direct the work of shared maintenance groups to facilitate the operational needs of mining locations.

  • Establish and manage annual and long-term team expense budget and provide input to appropriate site capital and expense budgets.

  • Act upon actionable items that are identified from internal and external audits such as safety, environmental, and housekeeping in accordance with Safety/Environmental Performance Indices.

What do you need for this role?

  • High school diploma/GED with 15 years of Industrial Maintenance required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Related Field preferred.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience required.

  • 5+ years in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite required.
