The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and deploying the direction of recruitment programs and systems. Responsibilities will include managing vendor relationships for a centralized Recruiting department and ensuring effective leveraging of recruitment activities, systems, processes and tools across Mosaic’s divisions. In addition, this role will be responsible for high level functional recruiting.
What will you do?
Recruiting Strategy Development and Deployment: Develop and propose compliant recruitment strategies based on knowledge of competition for talent.Monitor industry hiring trends to identify and communicate best practices.Participate in setting overall direction and strategic guidance for Mosaic’s staffing department leading to quality and quantity of hires required by the company.Partner with management to ensure alignment with business needs.Provide international recruiting support, which includes contract development and negotiations, marketing collateral development, recruiting technology support and other job duties as assigned. Serve as liaison for support from corporate office.
Recruiting Program Design and Deployment: Design and deploy center-led recruiting programs including background investigation or post-hire programs, referral bonus programs, on-boarding programs, etc.Develop overall annual strategy for college recruiting program, which includes branding and marketing collateral and messaging for student population, managing the college recruiting budget and communicating program strategies and objectives to management.
Project Leadership, Budgeting and Function Sourcing: Other job duties as assigned, which will include, but are not limited to:
In partnership with HRIS and other HR areas, manage and lead recruiting-related projects and system enhancements to improve service level and operational efficiencies of the department.
Budget support, which will includeplanning and management of annual budget plans and determining most efficient use of funds.
Sourcing functional hires as needed with an emphasis on higher level or difficult to fill roles.
Vendor Relationship Management: Manage vendor program including agency vendors, independent contractors, and staffing related vendors.Includes contract negotiation facilitation, vendor/contractor performance management, on-boarding, invoicing, and systems management and maintenance.Manage job board negotiations and relationships.
Compliance, Metrics, Reporting, and Recruiting Tools: Responsible for global tracking of position justifications, weekly new hire reports to key stakeholders, weekly summary of new openings. Collect and analyze monthly Recruiter metrics. Update results to management. Manage staffing software and software vendor used for applicant tracking. Manage maintenance issues, upgrades, and costs. Ensure recruiting activities are compliant with applicable laws, rules and regulations, which will include, but are not limited to OFCCP, affirmative action, applicant tracking, non-discrimination, etc.
Employee Development: Lead, develop and coach employees in order to retain and expand talent through focused attention and effort. Provide timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles and the business. Manage performance issues when necessary. Work with employees on their career development plans.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's Degree required with a preferred major in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
8+ years of recruiting experience in corporate and agency environment.
2+ years of experience managing direct reports
Experience building recruiting strategies across a broad range of positions and company divisions.
Demonstrated knowledge of affirmative action, employment law, diversity recruiting, and college recruiting best practices.
Some international recruiting experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Working knowledge of recruiting applicant tracking systems.
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Strong project management skills.
Strong process management skills that ensure consistent quality of service delivery.
