Are you our next Quality Assurance Specialist Senior?
The Quality Assurance Specialist Senior will supervise and manage all aspects of phosphate quality assurance. This includes conducting product quality investigations, recommending prevention or risk mitigation actions, data stewardship, finished goods product remediation and communication with both internal and external customers. The position will provide technical support and clear direction to our commercial and supply chain counterparts for handling sub-standard product.
What will you do?
Investigate, communicate and potentially mitigate any negative internal or external customer experiences associated with the quality of Mosaic’s dry finished phosphate fertilizer or animal feed products.
Monitor and compile quality assurance data and supervise the documentation and communication for reports, scorecards, metrics and trend monitoring.
Provide leadership for technical issues, problem solving, RCA facilitation and training procedures to resolve negative customer experiences.
Execute Mosaic global quality assurance initiatives and strategies to reduce risk and minimize negative customer experiences.
Responsible for conducting audits and inspections.
Administrative support for International Product Registrations. Including but not limited to document creation, legalization activities and customer communications.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science with 3-5 years of technical, industrial, or business-related experience in a manufacturing environment required. Highschool diploma with 8 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
Prior experience with quality processes and customer service required.
Prior experience in resolving negative customer experiences preferred.
Six Sigma experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
Proficient with Salesforce, SAP or other business applications preferred.
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills.
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
Data collection to support data driven decision-making.
Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels within the organization and across multiple sites
Prior experience in navigating potentially difficult conversations preferred.
