Are you our next Engineering Project Manager?
Engineering Project Manager is responsible for providing engineering support for Project Engineering Team. Work with management, process engineering, maintenance, outside vendors and operating personnel to provide guidance and support in the development and execution of capital projects in a cost saving and timely manner. Train and mentor project engineers and contractors in the use of good practices and Mosaic standards and procedures.
What will you do?
Report on current spending and forecasts for approved and planned projects
Actively participate in Mosaic's relentless pursuit of an injury-free workplace through project safety leadership
Travel to required facilities to develop knowledge of operations and build relationships needed to provide guidance and support for all capital projects
Work with project controls team to develop and maintain project management procedures and engineering standards
Responsible for the engineering design activities, coordination of projects and follow-up through completion. Support customers in the development of project scopes and business justification. Support the development of project priorities, scopes, cost estimates, specifications and capital requests. Monitor status of engineering projects (mentoring, job assignments, directed learning) to grow skill level and expertise for engineering team. Provide accurate and timely reporting of projects to Director of Project Engineering.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's degree required, major in Engineering.
15+ years of Project Management experience
