The The VP Global Talent is a key transformative leadership role at Mosaic, and will develop and drive an enterprise strategy focused on all facets of the employee life-cycle, to enable a talent-rich and high performance organization. The incumbent is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive talent strategy that supports and drives a high performance culture and building out a framework to support our business leaders and partners. As the champion of the full employee lifecycle, this role will partner with HR leadership and Mosaic executives to lead talent acquisition and talent management-related initiatives including the governance, standards and processes surrounding: hourly, management and executive talent acquisition; strategic workforce planning, career planning, talent and succession planning, high potential development, talent mobility, diversity & inclusion, culture, professional and leadership development, employee engagement and performance management. A key success factor is the ability to partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to drive Talent strategies and programs which support business unit and enterprise strategies. The role will be focused on partnering with business leaders and HR business partners to build out a standard framework and set of tools to be leveraged by all business segments to enable our shared business success. This leader will also work closely with the HR delivery organization to communicate, coordinate, implement and deploy global solutions, to ensure consistency of approach, execution and delivery at the local level. This role will be a trusted partner, subject matter expert and resource to the senior executives and the business, and requires the ability to think conceptually and strategically while maintaining a results-driven approach. While this role is a highly strategic leadership role, the Talent organization is a lean center-of-expertise (COE) and therefore it requires a very collaborative and solutions-driven work approach.
What will you do?
Developing, communicating and implementing a comprehensive talent lifecycle strategy that support Mosaic enterprise and business unit strategies, which will include talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, career planning, talent and succession planning, high potential development, talent mobility, diversity and inclusion, culture, professional and leadership development, employee engagement, performance management.
Developing strategic, trusting partnerships with the executive team, HR leadership and other internal clients in order to thoroughly understand business needs and priorities and translate in to an enterprise-wide talent strategy to enhance business performance and influence strategic outcomes of the Talent Center of Excellence.
Talent Center of Excellence
Leading the Mosaic HR Talent Center of Excellence and ensuring responsibilities and accountabilities are clear among all stakeholders.
Provide thought leadership on change management and work in partnership with HR colleagues and business leaders to lead and facilitate large-scale organization/transformational change initiatives.
Designing, developing and implementing metrics and measures to influence organizational decision-making and to monitor the effectiveness and business impact of talent initiatives to drive business growth, revenue and efficiencies.
Providing thought leadership and guidance in the establishment of processes that are easily implemented, consistent, repeatable, relevant and globally predictable.
Participating as a member of the Mosaic HR leadership team in formulating HR strategies and objectives and collaborating with HR colleagues to implement cross business and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Talent Acquisition/Talent Mobility
Developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to build a sustainable talent pipeline for all positions on an enterprise basis.
Partnering with business leaders to build consensus and support the implementation of governance, standards and strong processes to execute the Mosaic Talent Acquisition strategy.
Planning and directing the overall design and implementation and ensuring compliance of all Global Mobility programs, consistent with the Mosaic’s strategic direction and employment proposition and applicable laws and regulations.
Providing strategic direction and serving as a senior advisor to business leaders for Mosaic’s talent management processes and practices, which will include professional and leadership development, diversity and inclusion, career planning, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, and employee retention.
Developing, designing and serving as a thought leader on governance, standards and processes to establish enterprise-wide talent solutions through a variety of methods including: curriculum development, learning programs, coaching, mentoring and on-the-job enrichment.
Working closely with the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, HR leadership and business leaders to ensure optimal cross-pollination of talent across businesses and geographies as well as research, integrate and then disseminate both internal and external best practices on a global basis.
Providing direction and expertise in the application of talent assessments and communicating and interpreting insights with key stakeholders. Ability to coach individuals and empower others to take positive action.
Enhancing and encouraging a culture to drive high performance and ensure talent programs are in place to support a high performance culture, including engagement surveys, professional and leadership development, talent identification, succession planning, and performance management.
Providing strategies and resources to identify, guide and monitor progress of high potential employees and identifying positions that provide quality development opportunities.
Diversity and Inclusion
- Providing strategic leadership for the development and management of Mosaic’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Designing and developing a strategic workforce planning model, employee branding strategy and employee experience plan to address organizational needs.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field required
MBA or related Master’s degree preferred
SPHR or other HR Certification preferred
15+ years of professional HR experience in Strategic HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management or related experience with the most recent 5-10 years in a senior-level role operating in a multi-divisional and multi-national environment
Superb technical skills in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management
Deep knowledge in areas of talent strategy, competency models, talent assessment and development, talent identification and succession planning, leadership development program design and implementation
Successful experience leading diversity and inclusion initiatives that support business values and build its brand
Demonstrated experience leading the design and execution of solutions that drive measurable organizational performance
Demonstrated global cultural awareness and business understanding
Very knowledgeable in employment laws and practices in multiple countries and international HR management
Demonstrated knowledge of strategic workforce planning and global mobility/relocation processes
Proven leadership experience
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with Workday HRIS preferred
Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Strong understanding of business operations and functional requirements
Able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
Proven ability to partner with and influence the business
Ability to create effective partnerships at all levels of the organization and establish strong network
Ability to drive large scale changes throughout the organization
Highly effective coaching, influencing, presentation and facilitation skills
Experience with significant transformation, change management, and operational structuring strongly preferred

Must possess unquestioned integrity
Strong business and financial acumen
Ability to travel between 20-30% of time, including international. Must have passport or ability to acquire a passport
