The Mosaic Company E&I Technician in Uncle Sam, Louisiana
Are you our next E&I Technician?
We are currently seeking an E&I Technician for our Uncle Sam, Louisiana location. The E&I Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of all electrical and instrumentation equipment in the plant.
What will you do?
Low and medium voltage motors and motor controls as well as low and medium voltage switchgear
Pneumatic and electronic instrumentation for the measurement of flow, temperature, pH, specific gravity, density, mass flow and conductivity
15kv power distribution equipment, power transformers, troubleshooting programmable logic controllers and UPS systems
Read and interpret process flow diagrams, P & I drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, conduit and cable layout drawings, as well as instruction manuals for instrumentation and electrical equipment
Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC’s, Allen Bradley VSD’s, various single loop controllers, Delta V or ABB DCS’s, and GE/Westinghouse motor starters a plus
What do you need for this role?
Associate’s degree required with an E&I curriculum and a minimum of 1 year experience
Or 1 year experience in Electrical and Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance Field without a degree
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Proficient in industrial math, reading, comprehension and mechanical reasoning
