Are you our next Senior Investor Relations Analyst?

The Senior Investor Relations Analyst will provide critical analysis and recommendations to maximize shareholder value. This person will be responsible for analyzing internal and external data as well as analyst’s models and peer companies to develop the appropriate disclosures for the company’s investors and financial constituents. In addition, this individual will provide the initial draft of all Investor Relations communications and ensure accuracy as well as consistency of the final documents with historical disclosures and desired messaging.

What will you do?

Draft the following initial communications and participate in the preparation of the Annual Report.Ensure all disclosures have accurate certified data, approved by the appropriate sources and are consistent with prior / current disclosures.

  • Press and earnings releases

  • Earnings materials including Q&A preparation materials and scripts

  • Presentations and related scripts

  • Quarterly fact sheets

  • All web site materials

  • Monthly IR review

Develop and maintain a Mosaic detailed financial model and update with Mosaic actual financial results and forecasts and model to monitor actual results and analyst estimates.

  • Identify driver / result disconnects from historical relationships and determine root cause

  • Identify internal vs. analyst expectation variances and recommend appropriate disclosures / approaches to unify

  • Develop conceptual and analytical correlations to aid analysts in accurately modeling Mosaic’s business

Read and analyze competitor and industry related research and press

  • Summarize key points in MOS and peer analyst reports for senior leadership

  • Identify potential implication of competitor disclosures and analyst assumptions on MOS expectations

  • Identify new disclosures or disclosure formats and affirmations or risks to Mosaic’s key messages and positioning

  • Prepare competitive and industry performance analysis, including the development of industry and peer company performance criteria

  • Develop presentations and investor relations collateral material at the direction of the Vice President, Investor Relations. Maintain oversight of the Investor Relations website and recommend updates to remain aligned with Mosaic’s key messages, financial brand and best practices.

  • Ad Hoc research required to respond to investor inquiries. Other job duties and projects as assigned.

What do you need for this role?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related Finance area required.

  • MBA preferred.

  • CFA preferred.

  • 5+ years of related finance or investor relations experience.

  • For those candidates with an MBA, 3+ years of related finance or investor relations experience.

  • Strong financial analysis skills.

  • Financial modeling experience.

  • Knowledge of fertilizer or agricultural industry is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project, Sharepoint) with very strong Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills.

  • Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results when under the pressure of a deadline.
